Default The Hammers

This past weekend Two club members earned bells on the infamous Hammers Trails.

The bell master, Dan, tried a different line on a hard spot but it proved fatal for the the Scouts left front hub. The right front just needed some adjustment. The Scout be came a Jeep rescued vehicle.

The Administrator also earned a bell for a broken rear spring. The spring was repaired and with a little help from Warn at one spot finished the trail.

What? We had a group go down to the Hammers? Man, that would have been fun. Any Pics?

It was a rough day for the Scout, smashed hub, broken outer axle, a few more curves in the tie rod, and a dislodged skid plate. Lot's of fun winching to make up for being in 3-wheel drive. Good thing I didn't have to drive it home.

The carnage to the Scout has been repaired, now I just have to wait until next Spring to wear the Bell. At least I won't be alone, Steve!
